Dragon that does not fly
Komodo Park is located in the heart of the Indonesian archipelago, between the islands of Flores and Sumbava. The territory of the park consists of three islands: Komodo, Padar and Rinchen and the huge number of small uninhabited islands and coral reefs.
The largest of modern lizards, can reach three meters in length.
Wild adult komodskie dragons weigh about 70 kilograms, but in captivity, and reach large sizes. The biggest wild species, for which there is reliable data, was 3.13 m in length and weighed 166 kg, including the still undigested food.
